David Carrithers
Attorney David Carrithers brings over 35 years of intellectual property law experience to every matter we handle. Before practicing law, he worked in industrial chemical engineering, developing the technical expertise that allows our firm to grasp complex innovations quickly and translate them into effective legal protection.
Mr. Carrithers served as in-house intellectual property counsel for Valvoline Company for over 17 years, where he managed a comprehensive IP portfolio for a major corporation. This corporate experience shapes how our firm approaches IP strategy today: We understand the business pressures clients face and the practical outcomes they need from their IP counsel.
Mr. Carrithers handles utility and design patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets for businesses throughout the United States and internationally.
